Go Clippers!
I would like to thank the teammates, coaches and the fans for all the support given to each player. A great show of sportsmanship.

Go Spurs
Don't ever get down because of the standings. You will always be in first place in the heart of Coach Simpson, Coach Tom, Coach Mike and all your friends and families. Just go out there an have a good time and keep learning and loving basketball.

Where is everyone?
I'm surprised nobody is posting messages this year! It's already proving to be a dogfight to the top. I'd like to commend the coaching staffs on not running up the scores this year. Good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun are and should be the primary goals of this league.

Back2Back Champs
Being a former Hawks player who had won back to back Cagers championships, I'm glad to see that this league is still going strong! Keep it up!

Teamwork & Sportsmanship
I too would like to chime in on the last few posts. The teamwork between 2 opposing coaches and players to allow something so small that means so much to another player is what this league is about. I applaud the Pistons coaches and team as well as the Celtics player to let this happen. This is why I loved coaching in this league and declined other offers. Thank you all for a great 20 years!!!

Way to Go Abby and Elizabeth!!
In what may have been the greatest display of sportsmanship and unselfishness I have personally been part of or even witnessed, Abby from the Pistons and Elizabeth from the Celtics both scored their first Cagers baskets last night! Way to go girls!! Both teams and their head coaches should be proud of what happened last night at MSN. No matter what the final score ended up, there was a gym full of winners. To see the smiles on those two faces and a few tears of happiness, relief, excitement and pride was something to remember for a lifetime. And the fans ALL cheered for both girls just as loud. Nobody will remember the final score or who won the game, but a lot of people will remember that game in January when two little girls scored their first baskets. To the teammates on both sides that worked hard to get Abby and Elizabeth chances to score - you should be extremely proud of yourselves for being unselfish and caring teammates. And to everyone else on the floor that helped them get chances to score, you should be proud of yourselves for putting winning behind helping teammates and even opponents. Abby, Elizabeth - WAY TO GO!!

Cager Program
When I looked at the picture of Abby Mette almost in tears because she was so happy that she scored a basket-makes me stop and realize just what the Cager Program means to the kids. It makes me realize just how important it is to keep the Program going--for all the Abby's in the league. Each child deserves their chance to shine.

Two Good Games Pistons
Great games between the Pistons and Clippers and Mavs last week. Pistons - you guys took a very good Clippers team to the wire before losing late in the game. Both teams played hard all the way to the end and should be proud of that. Andrew, you had one of your best games ever against the Clippers. Good game with the Mavs on Thursday - Mavs you guys scrapped all the way through. Pistons - you bounced back from a tough loss on Wednesday and played a great team game against the Mavs. Angelo, you were on fire with three baskets and some great defense! Keep up the hard work and unselfish play team!
